Sunday Service - Celebration
This summer we're taking a look at the things that have gotten a bit, well, twisted with the Christian faith. Twisted Truths looks at the places today where things espoused by churches can be heresies--wrong thinking about Jesus, God, and religion. Gnosticism is when someone says, "I'm spiritual, but not religious." Real religion is way less about church attendance and more about loving God and helping care for those in need. Christian faith needs a body to do the work, and we are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the world. We believe in Jesus Christ. That he showed us what the Gospel of love is like: discipleship, faith, and how we work with God to transform this world are all part of our faith. We hope you'll join us on this summer journey.
