Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Some churches say children are the future of their church...at Trinity, they're the church of today.  Right here, right now, and just as they are.  We recognize each child's individual needs and abilities and no child will ever be turned away from Trinity.  Teaching children why Jesus gave His life for them, that God made them unique with talents and a special purpose that is all their own, and guiding them in using those talents to help others, is the core of our mission! Empowering them to be leaders at church, in school, and in their communities. Kids Ministries offers Sunday School for pre-K through grade 6 each week at 9:30 AM as well as after-school programming through our Elementary Bible Study and Promised Land programs. Music? We've got that, too. Children may join any program, any time! Scroll on for details.

Fall registration is now open!

Sunday Mornings for Kids

9:30-10:30 AM

Students in pre-K through grade 6  meet on the second floor to  enjoy our "Brick by Brick" Lego-based curriculum that has kids building their faith with fun Bible story-based lessons.

What Sunday School Teaches

We're all about fun and interesting lessons that explain Bible stories in a way that kids today can relate and take those lessons to apply to their lives during the week.

Elementary Bible Study & Promised Land After School

STARTING THE WEEK OF SEPT. 18!
A place to learn lessons from the Bible that apply to their lives today, to pray for one another, and, of course, enjoy an after-school snack...our Elementary Bible Study is that and so much more. Meeting weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 PM, EBS welcomes new students at any time throughout the school year.

As does Promised Land, our Thursday after-school program. From September through February, kids in our community can learn the value of family and community at our Promised Land program. Run by church staff and volunteers, the program begins at 3:30 PM and includes lessons, games, crafts, and service projects and concludes with a hot meal. Pickup time is 5:45 PM. Students participate in town clean ups, food collection, and service to seniors, learning what it means to be a caring member of a community.

TUMY JRS.

STARTING THURSDAY, SEPT. 19, AT 6 PM.
Designed for the unique needs of kids and tweens in grades 4 through 6, TUMY JRS. focuses on the needs of our big kids and tweens while giving them an opportunity to bond with older students in our Youth Ministries program as they meet weekly for social time. The groups gather together Thursdays during the school year at 6 PM in the youth room before splitting by age for lessons and prayer. Like TUMY, our JRS. group includes students from a variety of local schools. New students are welcome to join at any time.

Kids Music Ministries

STARTING SUNDAY, OCT. 6
There's a lot of music happening at Trinity, and kids from pre-K and up are invited to be part of it! Trinity's Children's Choir rehearses Sundays at 9 AM, right before Sunday School. It's a great way to make friends and new singers are always welcome! The choir usually sings once a month in worship.

New this year is a multi-grade Bell Choir for grades 3-12. Practices will be held Sundays from 10:30-11 AM, and all students in those grades may participate. No experience necessary!

Kid-focused Outreaches

Each year Trinity hosts a trio of large-scale outreach events aimed at reaching kids in our community and sharing the joy of Jesus!
  • At IGNITE SOCCER in June, we head outside to Alexander Park to learn a little about soccer and a lot about Jesus! Students in pre-K through grade 6 play games, learn soccer drills, sing songs, enjoy snacks, and hear more about God while making new friends!
  • In August, we welcome all art-minded students to our Music, Art, & Drama or M.A.D. CAMP! Held the week when most camps are shutting down but before school opens, M.A.D. Camp has students in K-6 learning a faith-based musical to share with their family and friends at the end of the week while enjoying daily art and music experiences as well as hot lunches and snacks.
  • October brings POTTERCAMP for students in grades 1-6, a free, fun-filled outreach that transforms Trinity into Hogwarts as we take a look at Harry Potter.  Young wizards learn about faith in Christ, the true magic of love, and the importance of friends!
