Sunday Service - Traditions

Pentecost Sunday is a remembrance of the day the Holy Spirit visited the disciples after Jesus' ascension into heaven. It's known as the beginning of the church. The disciples weren't ready for something this big. They were huddled together, unsure what to do after Jesus' departure. But the fire of God arrived, removing barriers and uniting people from all nationalities, all walks of life...and it's still alive today. The Holy Spirit the disciples encountered is still moving to this day, showing up in places burned and ashy, sowing seeds we don't always see right away.
