There is no more comedic book in the entire Bible than Jonah. Cartoons have depicted it, movies have spiritualized it, but nobody has ever thought of seeing it as a comedy. We’ll examine how the writer of Jonah uses hyperbole to and misfortune to make us chuckle and challenge our own preconceived thoughts about God’s way and will.
